Reservation
• Open from Mon – Sun from 08:00am – 5:30pm.
• Renting a bike is subject to availability and it is recommended to book in advance. Booking through our email max_memo2000@yahoo.com is recommended.
Payment
• Online payment with Credit/Debit cards for booking in advance.
• Cash payments or bank transfer at our storage unit before pick-up.
Insurance
• In case of severe damage or theft you may be charged up to $500.00 for bicycle excess insurance claim fee.
• In case of theft, you will have to lodge a report with the police. A copy of the declaration is required to process insurance claims.
Cancellation
• No charge, 12 hours before the rental time or in case of severe weather.
• $15 cancellations fee within 12 hours prior rental time.
• In the case of no-show, or no cancellation requests will result in full rental fees by the stated rental time.
Our Responsibilities
• All bicycles and equipment will be in good working order.
• Traffic rules and safety conduct will be presented to you before pick-up.
• We cannot be made liable for any injury / damages or death caused to/by the client during the rental period.
• By renting the bicycle you agree to indemnify us for claims for bodily injury or harm, accidents or loss of personal belongings caused by weather, sickness, or any acts of God caused to/by the client during the hire period.
Your Responsibilities
• You must be over 18 years old to sign this Rental Agreement.
• You must be the parent or legal guardian of any minors and provide consent for them to be party to this Agreement.
• The client must comply with all New Zealand traffic laws including but not limited to;
• The laws of New Zealand governs this Rental Agreement.
• You have consumer rights conferred by the Fair-Trading Act 1986 and neither this clause nor any other provision of the Rental Agreement excludes, restricts or modifies any implied terms or rights You may have under that Act or any other consumer legislation.

• A helmet must be worn all the time when riding the bicycle, as required by New Zealand law.
• Weight Limit: The rider + carry luggage must not exceed 120kg per bicycle.
• You have inspected the bicycle and the equipment for any defect that may impact its road fitness.

• The rented bicycles and equipment may only be used by the designated customer and the members of his/her party as mentioned in the Rental Agreement.
• You are obliged to take care of the equipment and to protect it from damage, loss or theft.

holding the bike overnight, the client will ensure it is kept in a safe, secure
and dry place.
• The Client agrees not to ride the bicycle in any saltwater whatsoever.
• Bicycles must be always locked when unattended, passing the lock through the frame and attaching the bike to a fixed object. It is highly recommended to keep the bicycles always secured especially during over-night rentals.
• Bicycles and accessories must be returned in the same condition it was in at the start of rental.
• Bikes and accessories are returned in time as stated in the terms of the Rental Agreement.

• Over time Charges for late returns are $20 for each bicycle per hour or part thereof. There are no refunds if the Client returns the bicycle rental
before the hire period ends.
• Waiver: Clients acknowledge and agree that Pegas Cycles Limited has no
control over the operation of the rental bicycle by Clients. Pegas Cycles Limited assumes no responsibility for and
cannot be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, third party liability or other
loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or
irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of any wrongful, negligent or accidental acts or omissions on the part of the Client or the Client’s agents; any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment or instrumentality owned, operated or otherwise used by the Client; any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under the control, direct or otherwise, of Pegas Cycles Limited. The Client indemnifies Pegas Cycles Limited, its agents and employees from and against any and all liability arising during the rental period. Clients acknowledge that they are aware of the risks involved with cycling including but not limited to physical exertion, forces of nature, accidents, travel via any mode of transport, adequacy of medical facilities, or negligence on the part of employees, agents or others of Pegas Cycles Limited. Clients agree to be responsible for their own welfare and accept any and all risk associated with the activities they undertake. Clients acknowledge and agree Peags Cycles Limited has the right to refuse hire for not executing this document or other required documentation correctly.
